VICTORIA - Thousand of residents of the Gulf Islands and Vancouver Island are still without power, in the wake of Friday's big snowstorm. Islands affected include Salt Spring, Galiano, Thetis and Kuper. And some residents are still without power in the Shawnigan Lake area.
